A Thought

Why do we undertake any study of a thing or start a venture when someone else has already studied that thing or started and completed that venture?  Perhaps is it because we are setting out in search of our personal first-hand experience.  In that experience we learn many things.  We learn how easy or difficult it is/was.  We can become the bard of our own experience that we share with others.  Their level of interest in our story is irrelevant to the experience.  The reading of or listening to the story could feel empty or lacking the true luster of actually experiencing.

Think of how many times a story was told and then concluded with the phrase “Well, you had to have been there.”  Think of all the people who have lived before us and all their experiences held within or shared.  They all happened as they were truly unique to that person and experienced with their own eyes, ears, body, mind & soul.  How similar their experiences to our own they were/are?

So are you going to move or stay put?  Are you going to stress or relax?  Your heart still beats, so you have an experience to be had.  I observe you in awe of who you are being.  Thank you for taking the time to read this.
